Product Development: Getting Started
From your initial contact with MEDATech Engineering, we begin the process of discovery to see if services are a proper fit for your engineering design needs.
Step 1: Inquiry
This is usually the first points of contact between you and our team. We will discuss what your engineering and equipment design issues are and what MEDATech Engineering has to offer. After this discussion we will often mutually decide to establish a non-disclosure agreement to facilitate the exchange of further information.
Step 2: Discovery and possible site visit
This is a detailed discussion with your team and our team. The purpose of this discussion is for us to get an in depth understanding of your project needs and for you to get a firm understanding of our specific technical capabilities in areas needed for your project. Typically, this discussion will involve appropriate members of your team, our engineers, and our project manager.
Step 3: Proposal / Scope of Work
Based on the information we have received in the discovery stage, we agree to create a detailed proposal or for your project. This proposal will define project scope, activities, deliverables, schedule, costs, and proposed business terms. We will work closely with you to create and refine the proposed body of work that will satisfy your needs.
Step 4: Project Begins
Once we have reached agreement on the Statement of Work, MEDATech Engineering will then assemble all of the people and resources needed to start the project. Typical projects will include a kickoff meeting with members of your team and members of the Indesign Project Team.
